The largest ocean
cleanup in history

The Ocean Cleanup has developed and scaled technologies to rid the oceans of plastics

Trash accumulates in five ocean garbage patches, the largest one being the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, located between Hawaii and California. To solve it, we not only need to stop more plastic from flowing into the ocean, but also clean up what is already out there

Floating plastics trapped in the patches will keep circulating until they break down into smaller and smaller pieces, becoming harder to clean up and increasingly easier to mistake for food by sealife. If left to circulate, the plastic will impact our ecosystems, health, and economies for decades or even centuries

A global challenge and a global charity, tackling a global issue: Ocean pollution

As our challenge is a global one, we want to partner with a global charity that has the same vision as we do; to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. This is a mission that everyone should be contributing towards, however, we are aware that there are certain efficient methods of achieving this. We believe The Ocean Cleanup is the most advanced organisation in tackling this environmental challenge and therefore, the most impactful way for us to contribute to the mission is by enhancing The Ocean Cleanup’s resources

Our Contribution:

Donations
Through the power of Crypto Currencies we want to raise as much money as possible

Awareness
Our journey takes us through the garbage patch and the rubbish will be documented for the world to see

Research
Rowing across the Pacific and spending 60 days at sea, we are able to offer our vessel and time to collect any data that is valuable to the Ocean Cleanup

The future of charities and donating is not simply giving money, it’s about the community aspect and joining a team. This type of philantrophy that makes you part of something that is much bigger than yourself, is the most powerful way
